  • On 8th September 2013, About 2000 Devotees from all over South India visited the Temple & Offered their Prayers. They came as part of their Puri Jagannath Yatra, organised by His Holiness Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy, a great Sanskrit Scholar from Chennai (Kinchitkaramtrust.org)
  • On 3/9/2013, Hundi Counting was done and the same is Rs 3.85 Lakhs for 74 days, showing continuous improvement in the Temple Income over the recent past.
  • On 20/6/2013, Hundi Counting was done and the same is Rs 6.34 Lakhs for 80 days. This is the highest ever Hundi Collection in the History of the Temple. It shows remarkable improvement in the Temple Income over the recent past.

  • On 23/12/2011, Sri Bhavirisetty Srinivasa Rao & Smt Sridevi from Guntur in A.P., donated Rs 11,400 for Saswata Kalyanam & Saswata Abhishekam. This amount will be credited to Fixed Deposit scheme of Andhra Bank and the annual interest will be used to perform Kalyanam/Abhishekam every year as desired
  • On 13/12/2011, Sri Ravindra Naidu from Visakhapatnam donated Rs 50,000 towards Saswata Kalyanam.This Amount will be deposited in a Fixed Deposit Scheme of Andhra Bank and the annual interest will be used to perform the Kalyanam as desired
  • On 29/11/2011, Hundi Counting was done, and the same is Rs 2.7 Lakhs for 35 days.,showing exceptional improvement in the Temple income compared to last year. There is a remarkable increase in the contributions for Aarjitha Sewas nowadays, which have improved about 10 times compared to last year.
  • On 10/11/2011, Sri Yeddanapudi Narasaiah & Smt Sobha Rani from Hyderabad., donated Rs 10,338 for Saswata Kalyanam/Naivedyam/Abhishekam etc. This amount will be credited to Fixed Deposit scheme of Andhra Bank and the annual interest will be used to perform the Sewas every year as desired
  • On 9/11/2011, Sri Perumalla Arun Kumar & Smt Jhansi Devi from Visakhapatnam donated Silver Plates worth about Rs One Lakh for the Lord's Sewas
  • On 5/11/2011, Sri Kavipurapu Venu & Smt Surya Kumari from Rajahmundry in A.P. contributed Rs 31,160 for Saswata Naivedyam (Bhogam).This amount will be deposited in the Fixed Deposit scheme of Andhra Bank and the annual interest will be used to perform the Poojas every year as requested.
  • On 2/11/2011, His Excellency Sri K Rosaiah, Governor of TamilNadu visited the Temple with a ceremonial welcome. He has also inaugurated a new, wide approach road to the Temple built at a cost of about 87 Lakhs

  • On 12/10/2011, A family from Srikakulam (Sri L Jagannadha Rao & Smt Kamala Kumari)donated Rs 10232 for Saswata Kalyanam on the two Ekadasis of Kaartika Month. This amount will be deposited in the FD scheme of Andhra Bank and the annual interest will be used for performing the Kalyanam every year as requested.
  • On 6/10/2011, Vijaya Dasami was celebrated with traditional rituals at the Vaishno Devi Temple with participation from large number of people from far & near.Lord's Kalyanam was also performed with the inauguration of new Simhasanam (Hamsa Vahanam)
  • Saraswati Pooja was celebrated on 3/10/2011 with participation of about 85 families.AksharaaBhyasam was done for these small children and Prasadam was distributed
  • HARI NAAMA SANKEERTAN was performed on 25/9/2011 with participation from many Devotees from ISKCON, Gaudiya Mutt etc.More than 300 Monks & Devotees from West Bengal, Odisha, A.P. etc took part in this Pure Devotional concert.

  • On 26/8/2011, Sraavana Laxmi Pooja is performed with great participation from many people. About 300 Women performed the pooja in the Temple under the guidance from the Priests.

  • The newly developed Temple Website & Blog are becoming very popular with the devotees across the world.The temple is now receiving international donations. A family from USA (Mrs Sailaja & Mr Aravind) sent their donations twice in the last one month
  • A Hyderabad based devotee proposed to fabricate & donate a Silver Chatri (Umbrella) for the Lord in Garbha Gruham. This is expected to cost over Rs 10 Lakhs.
  • The 32 feet Road widening work in front of the Temple is progressing fast.The floor relaying work in the Mandapam by Archaeological Dept is also moving fast and is expected to be over in a fortnight.
  • On 1/7/2011,To ease the acute Power shortage and the difficulties in Darshan of the Lord, a Srikakulam based devotee donated an Invertor-Battery worth Rs 16000 and a Hyderabad based devotee donated Honda Generator worth about Rs 26,000.These were installed immediately and devotees are now having a satisfying Darshan.
  • Books on Natural Living (Prakruti Jeevana Vidhanam) by Dr Manthena Satyanarayana Raju were distributed to the Devotees free, on the occasion of Kurma Jayanthi. A Vijayawada based devotee (Sri K Jagadish) sponsored 5000 books for the same.

They have also proposed additional amount upto Rs 25,000 for renovation of the Sivalayam in the Temple premises
